This print is based on the founding meeting of the National Miner’s Union Strike in 1933 in Gallup, New Mexico. Martial Law was declared , so any meetings of three or more was against the law. This print is about the meeting where the strikers needed to drive and also walk 22 miles accross state lines to Arizona ,and had the meeting in the Red Rock Caverns !!
